A double-scramble would be harder to crack. Amazing it was ever solved. -- Narnia.Gate7 (talk) 22:11, 9 May 2014 (UTC)

Can you please explain why you think it would be harder to crack? It has been well argued above that it would make no difference to the difficulty of decryption and so I would like to hear your argument. 194.176.105.138 (talk) 13:32, 7 July 2014 (UTC)

In modern terms, you and others may be correct. I was quoting Madeleine (young star of Granite Flats) in the movie time-frame of the 1960s, when a cypher of a cypher was more difficult. Seems logical that it would be, especially if the two encryptions are different in nature. Why not go for N-times? -- Narnia.Gate7 (talk) 20:03, 11 March 2015 (UTC)
