Nambwa Campsite is in the Mayuni conservation area and started its operations in the year 2004. Nambwa is in the Kongola area in the Caprivi region. The campsite is located on the west of Katima Mulilo along the Katima Mulilo Highway. The campsite is located on the peripherals of the Bwabwata national park. The park has a wide variety of animals ranging from the small animals such as the spring hare to the large animals such as elephants, so one has the likelihood of seeing these animals when they come to drink at the campsite.

Nambwa has 6 camping sites which are located along the banks of the [1]. The drawing features for the campsite include bird watching, animal observation as they will come to the watering hole and typical African sunsets. Another factor is the animal sounds in the evenings which one will get to experience thus giving one a truly African experience as they listen to the animals in the evening. Some of the animals to expect are leopards, lions, zebras to mention a few. In addition one can drive into the national park to see more animals in their natural setting. It has to be observed that this is a truly camping experience hence one has to bring their own drinking water and the camp has no electricity although the camp does provide bulk water.
