the school has an excellent academic record and is one of the best schools in the country. The schools moto, altyd my beste, means always my best in english, and that is why the schools academic performance is regarded as one of the best on the continent. The school was started in a time when the colonial south africans were in power and thus black students were not allowed into the school, but the school has truly become a rainbow school since independence with more then 40 percent black and coloured students.
