Dr Rop Naaman Kipsigei was born in 1986 at Kipsitet Kericho County kenya. He is fourth born in a family of five. He studied in Kipsitet and Tunnel primary schools and later joined Kaitui Secondary school in 2002-2005. He joined University of Nairobi for Bachelor of Education Arts where he graduated with 1st Class degree Hons in 2011. He joined a masters degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies in the same University graduating in 2012. He further enrolled for a PhD in Philosphy and Religious Studies in the same University leading to his graduation in 2015.
Dr Rop has taught in Kibabii University, in Bungoma between 2013-2014 where he was the HoD for Social Sciences. Currently he is the HoD for Humanities and social Sciences at University of Kabianga, Kericho Kenya.
