Safety On Namibian National Roads

edit

Safety on Namibian national roads has become a great concern to many motorists, as far as pedestrians are concerned. Road accidents in Namibia have reached worrying proportions with more than two collisions and fatalities reported on a daily basis. Many have attributed the rapid increase in road accidents to poor maintenance of national roads, compounded to by the uncontrolled movement of both wild and domesticated animals along and around main and busy national roads. Be that it all may, efforts are not being spared in a collective campaign to create road safety awareness, caution all road users to be vigilant at all paces of time as well as lending a helping hand to all victims of road accidents, as it is enshrined in the mission book of the Motor Vehicle Accident Fund (MVA).
