Wei Yan

Wei Yan(August 12, 1968), a professor at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, is an expert at science subjects involving biology and physiology. He has earned a completion of doctors of medicine in 1990, at the China Medical University in Shenyang,China. He lived in Turku,Finland from 1996-2000 and it was there where he completed his PhD. After the completion of that, he took 3 years to complete his post-doc in Houston,Texas. He began to work at the University of Nevada School of Medicine from 2004-present. His wife Huili Zheng also works at the place that he works right now and she has also worked on the subjects that Wei Yan has worked on.

Childhood

Wei Yan was born in a small city near Ling Yuan, and it's in China called Song Ling. That was in August 9, 1968. He has 2 brothers and he has lived in a life where he did great throughout his school years. He got married in 1991 with Huili Zheng and they were both born in the same year of August. One year later, they had their first child and it was a son named Mark Yan. Wei had the best life achievement.

Wei visited Japan, in 1994. He continued to study hard and talked to so many Japanese people. There was a Disney World in Tokyo and he had fun there, taking some pictures with some Disney characters and his friends in Tokyo. He has also enjoyed eating some Japanese foods at different kinds of restaurants, and he liked the Japanese noodles that had sliced beef sausages and an egg that was raw, cracked into his bowl. After the egg was cracked there, he got some sesames put onto the egg. He brought a soy sauce bottle that was Kikkoman, when he left Japan. This was a fun trip for Wei.

Finland Era

At the age of 26, Wei moved to Finland and he began to work on his PhD at the medical building, in the University of Turku. He lived at a hotel in Turku, before he moved into a condo home in 1996. In 1996, his wife and his son came to Turku and began to live in a life where they had to deal with a child that had problem. They got hard times all the time with their son Mark, because he was acting like a person who was very different from other people. Mark kept making lots of mistakes when they tried to take good care of him at home and while he was at a daycare. It went like this until Mark turned 7 years old and he began to go to school in Turku. At that time, Wei and his wife found out that their son has autism. They were thinking that they will be struggling with a son who is like that because there is no way that they can try to help out their son. Mark has been rejecting them all the time when they try to help him.

Wei worked with Yorma while he worked on his PhD that was going to take 5 years for him to get it completed. He always did a very good job when he is being given some works to do. He was also very good at doing presentations, in front of a lot of people.
