H.K.Nanjundaswamy was born on 13th July 1929, Narasimharajapura, Karnataka, India.
Educated as an Engineer BE (Civil) in March 1951, at Mysore University.
Visiting Professor of Civil Engineering, BMS College of Engineering,
Bangalore University. His company "Designers & Builder" has designed and executed several outstanding structures inlcuding the 270 m TV tower in Delhi.
He has won several awards for his notable contribution to the Industry of Civil Engineering.He is currently one of the Trustees of Bangalore Gayana Samaja. He has Played a lead role in several scientific, sociocultural and financial organizations like Indian Concrete Institute, Association of Consulting Civil Engineers, National Cooperative Bank, Bangalore, Sir M. Visveswaraya Co-Operative Bank Ltd., Karnataka State Contractors Co Operative Bank, NSVK Institutions, Hoysala Karnataka Sangha, Akhila Karnataka Brahmana Mahasabha.
