Oranges are fruits that are grown in large quantity in the Eastern side of Tanzania because of the good climatic condition. Most of the Oranges in Tanzania are grown in Matombo Village in Morogoro. The climate in Morogoro is Savanna climatic condition which favors the growing of oranges without application of pest dices because the cold condition does not favor life of pest. Different types of Oranges are found in Matombo including yellow, green and brown Oranges and they are very sweet

Apart of being fruits, Oranges are also medicine that can cure skin cancer very quickly. In 2008, 200 people was cured skin cancer in Tanzania by using unripe Oranges.
