Oh, lest vanity get the better of me...
I am a Canadian of German origin living in Berlin. I work as a software engineer.
On first arriving in Berlin, I spent a number of years translating German Literature (primarily poetry and plays including the complete poems of Heiner Mueller) a hobby of some 20 years.
My literary aspirations have been interrupted in recent years by an obsession with Eric Satie.
I play piano, clarinet, tenor viola da gamba, trumpet and trombone. I also write my own software synthesis tools and hack hardware, although practicing the traditional instruments occupies most of my time.
My interests are so many and varied that it doesn't really pay to digress!
