Declaration of COI in regard to the New Covenant Ministries International page.
August 19, 2014:
I lead a church in North America that has been relating to New Covenant Ministries International (NCMI) Team since 2004. I have been on the NCMI trans-local team since 2010. I receive no financial benefit from NCMI and I am not a paid advocate. The fact that I have a relationship to the NCMI team puts me in the place of having a COI in regard to editing the NCMI page
My motive and personal interest in being involved as an editor of the NCMI Wiki page is NOT to promote NCMI in any way or to seek any personal agenda but solely to work with other editors to produce a very high quality article that meets the encyclopedic aims of Wikipedia conforms to the Wiki content policies and guidelines.
My knowledge of NCMI is current and accurate, and believe that I can be of assistance to editors who wish to improve this page.
I have read WP:COI and the three ways to handle a COI, one being, “it can be managed, with or without disclosure– for example, P might ask people to watch closely when she does anything where her judgment could be affected by the conflict.” Therefore,I want to invite Wiki editors and administration to scrutinize all my actions and editorial involvement to insure that I am advancing the ethical encyclopedic purposes of Wikipedia rather than any of my own interests or those of the New Covenant Ministries International team.MuzickMaker (talk) 18:42, 13 October 2014 (UTC)
