Welcome to my user page.
I thought that I would say a few words about my background. The first strand to my life has been I.T. I have changed specialisms quite a lot during my career, so I have a diverse set of skills, including: database admin (MySQL); email systems; web programming (PHP); and Geographical Information Systems (ESRI, and now QGIS, Python). My second interest area is Earth Science, with specialisms in: geology, especially sedimentology; glacial sedimentology and glaciology. I have particular interesti in British and Irish Icesheet during the Last Glacial Maximum (Devensian).
My username 'Muddy110' is due to the fact that I used to own Land Rover Defender 110. I enjoyed going off-road with it and getting it muddy.
