Basics

A growingly used powerful Psychoactive drug in the U.K and U.S, but still minority. Very popular in Eastern countries such as, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Russia and China. Most commonly known as Dive or Deep. It is a sister product of similarly acting drug Rise[[1]]. Dive differs from Rise as it features several added ingredients, most of which are of advanced chemistry, although the product can be created easily at a home laboratory, and the ingredients can be extracted from normal household products.

Terminology

Many slang names or abbreviations have been given, including Dive, Deep, Slip, Fall, Cannacaine, Cocabliss, Ruff Snuff, 436, 13, AMMD, AMTMADA, 13AMMD, Brown Cocaine, Brown Speed, Daze, Fizz and D Dabs.

Description

Appearance

Dive is often seen as very fine powder to pepper ball sized powder, purer forms are usually blacky brown in colour, less pure forms merge into grey or white. It can sometimes be seen as a pill, when the powder has been forced together, creating a grey and black mixed tiny pill. Also sometimes the powder is inserted in a capsule or tied up in a cigarette rolling paper or added to fast melting tablets. When in larger powder form it can be smoked through a pipe, or by "chasing vapours", melting on a piece of foil and breathing in the fumes. It can be melted and injected. When in fine powder form it can be dissolved in LSD or PCP. The powder is often mixed with other drugs, such as heroin for extra effect or bulking out (Adding adulterants to increase size or weight of product for extra value in selling.) Very rarely it can be found mixed with 5-MeO-DMT and injected, note that this is very dangerous as it can cause blockages in the veins, as well as the normal risks of injecting anything.

Use

Dive is almost always taken by insufflation (Snorted through the nostril) and topically (Applied to skin areas, in this case the nostrils and the gums of the mouth.) or less often orally by swallowing or taken sublingually. When taken by insufflation, effects can take from 1 minute to 30 minutes to be noticeable, and up to 1 hour to peak, usually effects wear off after 2 and a half hours, and effects mostly finish after 3 hours. When taken topically or orally, effects can take up to 30 minutes to effect, 1 and a half hours to peak and tends to finish after 4 hours. When taken by smoking effects can take up to 10 minutes to be noticed, 1 hour to peak and gradually wear down to an end at about 4 hours. An average buy is called 1 set, this would typically be 1-3 lines. If buying in other forms 1 tiny pill, 1 capsule, 2 pepper ball sized chunks, are the normal doses. The amount is called a set, because it reduces people mixing it with adulterants to add weight, and because the weight changes vaguely between forms it is taken in, and quality is superior to quantity with regards to this drug. There is no known overdose limit, but negative effects and chances of physical harm become greater with larger doses.

Legality and Health

Legal

Dive is a class B drug, unless prepared for injection or smoking, in which case it becomes class A. If chemically mixed with any other drug, including alcohol, LSD and 5-MeO-DMT, also turns class A.

Health

Long term use can cause a wear down of the septum, and cause liver problems. If using needles there is the risk of H.I.V and A.I.Ds etc. from sharing needles, and this also concerns straws or notes used for snorting. If smoking there are the risks of lung and throat cancer that come from smoking. The short term problems could lead to large difficulties, or endanger you or others. The substance itself is not addictive but the effects can be viewed as so pleasant that it encourages repeat use. The body does not build up a resistance to the substance, but the mind does.
