“Golden Photon Award for Smart City Solutions” is the main independent industry award and a recognized mouthpiece of quality in the lighting and electrical markets of the Eurasian Economic Union.
About the Award
editThe award was established in 2017 by Lighting Business Consulting – an independent consulting company. It is awarded to companies focused on the creation of innovative and energy efficient products and projects - product manufacturers, official distributors, design organizations, energy service companies, mass media.
Winners are selected by a professional independent jury consisting of leading industry experts, end-user representatives, architects, lighting designers, developers and journalists.
The grand prize is presented in the form of a lamp symbolizing light and the search for truth. The statuette weighs 1,600 grams and is 25 centimeters high and is made of high-strength glass framed in brass at the base.
The official status of the award was confirmed by the permanent supranational regulatory body of the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space - the Eurasian Economic Commission.
“Interlight Russia | Intelligent building Russia” – an International Trade Fair for Lighting and Building Services Technology by Messe Frankfurt – is the Strategic Partner of the “Golden Photon” Award.
The award is supported by the Association of LED and LED-based Systems Manufacturers (APSS) and Russian Association of Electrotechnical Companies (RAEC).

“Golden Photon Award” is open to submissions from lighting designers and manufactures from around the world.
The first award ceremony was held in February 2018. The second ceremony was held on September 11, 2019, the third on November 26, 2020, and the fourth on September 14, 2021.
