Once every couple years there are heros and there are villains, there are winners and there are losers, there are people who are treated as gods and people who are treated as the Devil. Stephen Finney is all of these things, yet the opposite of every one. Stephen Finney is much more than the musical genious that is shown by all that come to his concerts, and much more than the friendly peer that the people at his school Southridge High School know him as.

From Humble Beginnings edit

Stephen Finney was born on May 18, 1992 in Beaverton, Oregon. 12 years after the eruption of Mt. Saint Helens in nearby Washington. Coincidense? I think not. After running wild for 10 years, a childhood friend convinced him to pick up a Bass Guitar. This instantly focused much of Finney's previously unmanagable energy. However, that energy did not disappear, he simply had control over it. When he chose to, he could unleash mass amounts of pure fury, joy, or whatever emotion he was feeling, with 12 times the power a normal human being can. This rugged emotional energy gave him the nickname "Sir Jackhammer the Powerful, with Unmatchable Energy for Laughter, Life and Love" which was later shortened to "Da Jackhamma'" as Stephen claimed, "Long nicknames are for pussies."

Musical Career edit

After picking up that Bass Guitar in 2002 Stephen instantly immersed in all that music had to offer. He soon mastered the bass, giving him his next nickname "The Master Basser." His next instrument he moved on to was the guitar. In 2005, with the talents of two instruments under his belt, he stopped and meditated on what he had learned. Studying the classic works of Sum 41, Messed, and Oleander, he started playing local gigs and shows for friends. Normally refusing to let anyone else on stage, it was usually a one-man show. He would switch from Bass Guitar to Guitar between songs, always in Drop-D. He has since started playing the Bongos, Keytar and even the occasional Mouth Harp.

Romantic Life edit

By far, Stephen's most impressive accomplishments have been in the field of love. He has conquered the hearts of many of the local women, young and old, in and around his hometown, Beaverton, Oregon. In his high school, he was voted "Most likely to have dated every women in the school... twice." This was pretty impressive, since the award had never been given to a freshman previously. What's even more impressive, Stephen spent much of his freshman year in Amsterdam where he decided to stay for a year. It is rumored that in Amsterdam the people who saw him there payed some serious cash just to be in his presence for 5 minutes at a time.

What to Look Forward To edit

Stephen has never been a man to disappoint. And when the public wants more, Da Jackhamma' is always willing to supply. One think we can definitely look forward to is his reoccurring love affair with fellow Oregonian Alyssa Miller. Every since they started dating in 2005, they have had an on and off relationship that has been both joyfully sweet, and heart-wrenchingly sad to watch. Jessie's brain is in her feet.
