Wikipedia is great, thanks to people who care more than I do.

Thank you.

Wikipedia is free and chalked full of wonderful, mostly accurate information, thanks to the efforts and toil of people who put pride in their work, then get bent out of shape when trolls and idiots mess things up, then engage in edit wars, committee discussions, thoughtful deference to rules and guidelines and conventions, and generally commit themselves to tedious and ceaseless edits to maintain the integrity of Wikipedia.

For all the raised blood pressure; all those depressing nights in front of the cold white glow of your computer screen and the forsaken relationships; for those who check their watchpage first thing in the morning and those that meticulously comb over the recent changes; for all the people who collect barnstars and take a few minutes out of their day to praise a fellow administrator for diligently toiling alongside themselves; I offer my sincere gratitude,

because your efforts have made my life easier, and I will never care about it all the way you do.
