Hello everyone,
My real name is Margarida Silva. I'm portuguese and live in Porto, Portugal. My training was in biology and I did my PhD in molecular biology at Cornell University with Prof Carl Batt. Currently I work as a tenured professor at the Portuguese Catholic University in Porto and focus mainly on environmental issues. My non-professional interests are many and diverse. I've been a long time patron of Wikipedia and right now I'm having fun with my learning curve doing real page editing (as if I weren't busy enough already...).
