CONSEQUENCE (YOUTUBE SERIAL DRAMA)

Consequence is a soap opera (serial drama) made by MLTV Productions for YouTube. The first episode was uploaded on 27th May 2011 and the second on the 3rd June 2011. The third and fourth episodes are due to be filmed in September 2011 ready for broadcast in October 2011.

Drink Driving

The first and second episode of Consequence focused on the issue of teenage drink driving and the after effects. The first episode focused on the build up and ending with the cliffhanger, with the second episode focusing on the drink driver and how he was coping.

The first story of the series was mostly filmed at The Isle of Wight College and other scenes elsewhere on the Island.

SCHEDULE

Episodes are broadcast weekly on a Friday evening and aimed to be uploaded after the 9pm watershed.

SERIES ONE

It's been announced that a further 4 episodes are being written for 2011 and early 2012.

SERIES TWO

Confirmed by Executive Producer Matthew Lawrence = Series Two of Consequence will be broadcast in 2012 with another 6 episodes and a change from dark storylines to light hearted storylines.

TITLE SEQUENCE

The title sequence was originally intended just to feature location shots. As time was running out it soon became clear that their was no time to film location shots. Instead the cast where filmed in front of a green screen.

THEME TUNE

The opening title music lasts about 30 seconds and is heard in at the beginning of each episode.

CLOSING TITLE MUSIC

Their are 2 variations of the closing theme tune. The 1st being the opening title music just sped up slightly and the second being the opening but without the dramatic drum beats at the start. Instead of the drum beats a slow emotional build up motif is used and lasts about 20 seconds. This has been used 1 times as of 3rd June 2011.
