Tennessee state elections in 2022 were held on November 8, 2022, throughout the US state of Tennessee. Its primary elections were held on August 4, 2022.

All 9 of Tennessee's seats in the United States House of Representatives were up for election this year. 8 of the 9 incumbents ran for re-election, with one member, Jim Cooper, retiring due to alleged gerrymandering of Davidson County.[1] 8 Republicans and 1 Democrat were elected.[2]

Constitutional amendments

Four amendments to the Tennessee Constitution were voted on in this election. All four amendments passed.[3]

Amendment 1

Commonly known as the "Right-to-Work Amendment", this amendment adds language to the Tennessee Constitution that prohibits employers from denying employment to any person due to that person's membership or non-membership in a labor union.
