ME
editI am a student, and one of the world, who ultimately has his set of beliefs but is actually willing to listen to arguments to develop a better perspective and better knowledge of issues, topics, subjects, you name it. I love Wikipedia because of the potential it has of being a reliable source and launching point for all areas of research. While it is regulated, it is perhaps less so than many other encyclopedias. I think infinite possibilities for editing on any single topic are the only way we can truly learn to be as objective as possible about society and history. In some ways I wish this process was more ingrained into the process of learning. Research truly is the only way to learn properly.
I also speak Italian and French. I travel the western world (the occident) and have seen things and eaten things and drunk things that people don't even dream of. Nevertheless, I joined wikipedia because I still have much to learn, even of my own ideas and knowledge (or as some would say prejudices).
