St. Stephen's Episcopal Church (Richmond, Virginia) is located at 6000 Grove Avenue in Richmond's West End, near the Fan District and the Museum District.

History

Music

The church organ was installed by Aeolian-Skinner Organ Co., Inc. in 1966. At the time of the 1966 rebuild, a new 4-manual Organ console replaced the 3-manual console, which went to Trinity Episcopal Church in Rutland, Vermont.

Renovations

The building was originally built in 1928 and enlarged in 1950. In 2015 St. Stephen's completed a renovation which restored the church's historic front, renovated the sanctuary, repaired stained-glass windows, refurbished pews, improved handicap accessibility, and added automatic door and an elevator. HAC and acoustics were also improved.^[1]

Education

The church provides a pre-school education.^[2]
