Saint Paul Convent School
Saint Paul Convent School was inaugurated on 18 May 1951.Now it was located on 11/2 M.3 Sukapiblan6 Road,Sulasukmontri, Sriracha ,Chonburi 20110. Saint Paul Convent has 3 sections which are pre-primary (3-5 years old),primary(grade1-6) and high school (grade 7-12) by admit only girls. The school has 2500 students and 120 teachers . It is managed by the Sisters of Charity of St.Paul of Chartres in Thailand. The Sisters of Charity of St.Paul of Chartres is the Education for Development Foundation in Thailand
The meaning
* The circle means that it combines those who is philosopher .
*The seven petals means that it is seven favour of god .
* The shield means that knowledge can protect everything.
* The sword means that the students can go through heavy obstacles
* The leaf means that that the students have to exist with peace.
*The two books mean that is a bright light of life.
School Colors.
White and Light blue are the school colors which symbolize the purity of sacred heart .
*White represents purity, optimism, benevolence ,absolution and goodwill towards other.
*Light blue represents warmth , quietness, calmness and modesty. Moreover ,the light blue is color of Mary who is Mother of god.
History of Saint Paul Convent School
The first name of Saint Paul Convent School is Wajanakarm . It was managed by the Sisters of Charity of St.Paul of Chartres in Thailand. The Sisters of Charity of St.Paul of Chartres is the Education for Development Foundation in Thailand . In the past,Saint Paul Convent School was located opposite the Sriracha local government ,Chonburi .It was inaugurated on 18 May 1951.It had one building which made from wood and a building. The syllabus of this school was referred with a ministry of Education. The students studied from primary to secondary .They had both boarders and day students .Because the amount of students increased. In 1961,the Education for Development Foundation in Thailand bought more area for built a new building to support the students .The school became two 2 storey buildings ,one building which make from wood, building and one of 4 storey building .All of this was finished on 25 January 1963. 25 January was the day celebrated Saint Paul, who was a patron of the Sisters of Charity of St.Paul of Chartres .The administrator asked for permission to change the name of school from Wajanakarm to Saint Paul Convent.
At present, the school had been begin more than 60 years. There are 2719 students ,the teachers are 148 and 10 people of executives .The School have 10 building which are St.Joseph building,Our lady of chartre building , St.Peter building ,Queen of Peace building ,Queen of Angels building ,building for executives ,building for cooking ,building for boarders and building for staffs.Saint Paul Convent has 3 sections which are pre-primary (3-5 years old),primary(grade1-6) and high school (grade 7-12) by admit only girls.In high school, there are 3 majors which are Science-Math, English-Math and Chinese-English.
The Active Conversation English program is study English with IDEAL teachers 2 hours a week.It provides for all sections.English-Math program is study English with IDEAL teachers 6 hours a weeks and study English with Thai teachers more than 10 hours a week. English- Chinese is study English and Chinese with IDEAL teachers 6 hours a week and study Chinese with thai teachers who graduated from china more than 10 hours a week. The English Program is provides teaching and learning in English all subjects except Thai with IDEAL teachers .It provides for primary students and high school students.
