I began editing Wikipedia pages on 17-Jan-2011. My aims currently are to help expand the entries on Zimbabwean stone sculptors, particularly by providing referenced biographies of some of the now-deceased members of the "first generation" of these sculptors. I collect Shona sculptures and own many original catalogues and specialist books from which to collate information.
My main contributions have been to the entries for sculptors Fanizani Akuda, Colleen Madamombe, Joram Mariga, Bernard Matemera, Nicholas Mukomberanwa, Henry Munyaradzi, and John Takawira; plus Chapungu Sculpture Park and Frank McEwen. The entries for the sculptors are now in the same general style and this is how I should like to develop additional contributions. I have already created a new article on Celia Winter-Irving and expanded the one on the Shona Scupture movement. Other articles created or expanded include those for the Tengenenge Sculpture Community and its founder Tom Blomefield.
