Chris & Michael Undercover (sometimes written: Chrichael) is a detective agency (at very reasonable rates) which operates from The King’s Academy in Middlesbrough. They are (in)famous for their ability to detect[citation needed], and have handled some of the most prestigious (budget) detection cases of recent decades.

History

edit

They began their illustrious career after attending an undergound Secret Seven recital deep in the 70s, and becoming enthused for the mystique and allure of the detective way of life. This turned out to be an illusion.

After coming into possession of their first typewriter (although to date, they still have not mastered its working) and commandeering a back-alley in the shadier part of Middlesbrough (the bit not in the Sun), they set about tackling their first case: proving that they had in fact been employed as detectives, to avoid claims of harassment.

But cases soon improved in stature, and before long, one particularly difficult case led them to The King’s Academy, where they decided to take up residence as Detectives Laureate (the issue of pay still being negotiated), adopting an elaborate disguise as students.

To tide them over until the imminent decision is made to give them a wage, they have allowed excerpts of their reports and a draft of their autobiography (“The Case of the Unauthorised Autobiography: Under the Cover”[citation needed]) to be published in “The Academy Times” (again, a fee is currently being negotiated for this). Their mild public exposure ensued.

They have apparently recently gained a third in Master Disguisery, Wiggery, and Tomfoolery[citation needed], and a PhD in Staged Detectivery[citation needed], (university unspecified).

Disguises

edit

Having apparently gained a third of a degree in Master Disguisery, their skills at blending (in) are almost existent. This has served them well in many of their cases as well as their personal lives. Some of their most infamous disguises include: the ol’ hat’n’glasses combo, bystanders, a wall, cadavers (they apologised profusely to all at the funeral), and, for some reason, most frequently: women.

Some examples of their disguises:

Famous Cases

edit

Some of their most notable cases include:
• The Sound of the Kaskerbilles[citation needed]
  [citation needed]
• Who Framed Roger Coney [citation needed]
• The Theft of the Pink Cougar [citation needed]
• The Case of the Black Deli [citation needed]

Arch-Nemeses

edit

Over their long careers, Chris & Michael have made many enemies (the majority of whom are coincidentally past clients). They have managed to achieve stalemate situations with most, and avoid retribution for their cutting (and often accidental) revelations of the truth and/or ineptitude.

Their most dastardly enemies include:
• Foul Ol’ Ron[citation needed] - Many have described him as the very devil himself. Chrichael ‘took for evidence’ many of his possessions in their early days, and he has haunted them ever since.
• Chuteavecstyledemort[citation needed] – has had a vendetta against them since a prophecy was made that they would be the ones to eventually defeat him. They have done so, with him in various forms, seven times to date.
• Sour Ron [citation needed] – Has not been seen in person for years; the most reliable descriptions of him are as ‘a huge wagon-wheel of fire’. Chris & Michael have recently ‘taken as evidence’ a certain item of jewellery belonging to him, and he is devoting all his efforts to their downfall to steal it back.
• El Chupacabra [citation needed] – Continues to be a menace to the company livestock.
• Mr. Hyde (AKA: Dr. Seek) [citation needed] – They have caught him numerous times, but the eternal law of ‘no tiggeyback’ foiled them.
