Michigan Rock and Roll Legends is a non-profit, historical web site dedicated to the Rock and Roll artists and music of the state of Michigan. The balloting for inductees voted into the MRRL online Hall of Fame and/or recordings selected to be Legendary Michigan Songs were done through an online voting system. Any mention in Wikipedia of any of the artists or songs honored on the site were only done to provide additional information about said artists or songs. The MRRL site is educational and contains no advertisements.

I am a retired school teacher with over 35 years experience in the classroom. While I was teaching in the Essexville-Hampton Public Schools, I wrote and assembled the first multi-media textbook on the History of Rock and Roll in the state of Michigan. I currently serve on the board of the Bay County Historical Society, and I periodically teach Rock and Roll History courses through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Saginaw Valley State University.

I appreciate Wikipedia; and I have used it numerous times while researching artist biographies and other stories that I have written for the site, and for the classes that I teach. It is my belief that a mention in Wikipedia of any artist or song honored in Michigan Rock and Roll Legends is no different than being acknowledged by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Rockabilly Hall of Fame, or the Vocal Group Hall of Fame, to name just a few. There is no promotion involved on my part, other than to let the reader know that there is another source of information out there. I do not profit from people visiting www.michiganrockandrolllegends.com in any way, shape, or form.
