Michael is the founding director and Chair of World Kindness Australia since its conception in 2011. In 2012, at the London 7th General Assembly, he became the first elected General Secretary to the prestigious peak global body, The World Kindness Movement. Under his stewardship, the organisations secured support and endorsements from Australia's Vice Regal, two Australian Prime Ministers including the current, State and Federal Ministers including the Premiers of NSW and Victoria, The Australian Commissioner for Human Rights and local government bodies representing 1.7 million residents including the City of Sydney and Gold Coast. Michael delivered the Hon Kevin Rudd PM, Australian Prime Minister's Message at the launch of World Kindness China in Hong Kong and Shanghai in 2013 . This achievement was acknowledged in the NSW Parliament and in Her Excellency Professor Dame Marie Bashir Governor NSW 2014 Message at NSW Parliament House Goodwill Ambassador Dinner. 

In 2015 Michael addressed Ministers and senior bureaucrats in The Royal Thai Parliament in Bangkok following chairing the 8th International Council Meeting in Paris.

In 2016 Michael chaired the 20 international Council Meeting in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and presented agenda items for the 2017 General Assembly including the introduction of Article 28 A Kindness Clause for an amendment to the constitution. In 2017 Michael represented Australia at the 20th Anniversary and chaired The World Kindness Movement's 9th General Assembly in Seoul where he again delivered on behalf of the Australian Prime Minister, the Hon Malcolm Turnbull PM, Message of Support. Michael stepped down from his role as General Secretary after serving 5 years and is now the senior advisor to the board for World Kindness USA.

Michael is known for and continues to deliver passionate keynote addresses to engage, inspire and influence our leaders and people of influence that a kinder world can be realised in our lifetime.
