My name is Michael Wilson (my family and friends call me "Mike"). I am a native of Kansas, USA, but now reside in Pleasant View, Tennessee, USA, with my wife, Dawn. I work at Caterpillar Financial in Nashville, Tennessee.
I am a newcomer to Wikipedia, so please be patient with me, as I try to "learn the ropes".
My interests are New Testament studies (I am working on a translation of the New Testament), languages (I speak some Spanish and have studied German and Russian), linguistics, etymology, food and cooking, and astronomy (especially, manned exploration of our Solar System).

Favorite Rock Bands: Pink Floyd, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Boston (band), Kansas (band).
Favorite Classic Rock Albums: Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here (album).
Favorite T.V. Shows: Lost (TV series), The Unit, Heroes (TV series).
