Lower and upper cascades are the two separate residential units located at the University of British Columbia Okanagan campus in the Okanagan Valley. These buildings have 278 units and were completed in August 2008. The project sponsor for these units was UBC Student Housing & Hospitality Services which fund 16,991,000 dollars for construction. The architect for the project was Raymond Letkeman Architects managed by UBC Properties Trust.

Units

The residence is a collection of fully furnished four-bedroom suites that provide housing for university students throughout winter and summer sessions. Each suite has four single private bedrooms, two communal bathrooms, a kitchen, a living area, and an eating area. These townhouse-style residences are winners of a FortisBC PowerSense Conservation Excellence Award for energy conservation measures.[1]
