Dying Sky is a Welsh band formed in 2022 in Newport, Wales. (a user page i made for my band init.)
History
editDying Sky was formed in Newport, South Wales on February 13, 2022 by Will Mannay, Sam Prosser and Alex Mercer under the original name SAW and later Psychedelic City. Prosser and Mercer didn't play any kind of instrument or provide any vocals until 2023. Under the first name of "SAW", they released a demo cover of STARING AT THE SKY by XXXTENTACION on Will Mannay's YouTube channel in September 2022. Original bassist Ben Hughes joined the band in October 2022. Their first official single, "Fake Love" was then released in November 2022. Hughes left in July 2023 as Prosser took over playing bass and Mercer became the band's second guitarist. Prosser and Mercer left the band in September 2023 and rejoined in March 2024 when Megan Teague joined the band to play drums briefly. Teague left the band in April 2024. The band are now working on their debut EP, "The Void" which is expected to release in 2025.
