FSM also known as Flight School Music, is an American rap group hailing out of Greensboro, North Carolina,[1] Greensboro.[2] Influenced by Outkast Little Brother [Notorious B.I.G.]] [Jay-Z]] and others. FSM consist of The Mecca of Rhymes, Jones Andrews, Hendrix Law and Young Rush. They are definitely not your average rappers and are impeccable performers[3]. They have shared the stage with major recording artist such as Lupe Fiasco B.O.B. Wiz Khalifa Big Sean Big Daddy Kane Big K.R.I.T. Kendrick Lamar and numerous others. In 2010 they released their first compilation mixtape "First in Flight, Last to Land" which went on to be considered a local classic.
Career
editFSM has been featured on over 100 websites, 15 radio stations and received over 100,000 downloads for their music. They have been featured on the Leaders of the New Cool Tour alongside the likes of artist like Dom Kennedy and Vado[4][5]. They were also on tour dates of The Middle East Micfest Tour presented by Mack Jones Media and 9th Wonder's It's A Wonderful World Music Group in 2010 and 2011. Their track "Walk in my Shoes" received excellent responses from DJ Wayne Ski[6] and the legendary Dj Evil Dee of Da Beatminerz Although no date has been set, FSM (Flight School Music) has been working on their followup project "No Landing Gear", due in late 2011.
