Hutch (real name Shaun Hutchinson) is a video game player from The United States. He has become a YouTube celebrity by posting videos of his gameplay on his channel Shaun0728. Now with over one hundred thousand subscribers^[1], Hutch has joined Machinima.com as a content provider and more recently, as a full time employee.

Call of Duty

Hutch's video content predominantly comes from the first person shooter Call of Duty video game franchise, in particular, titles from the developer Infinity Ward. The content is almost always from the Xbox Live multiplayer aspect where Hutch plays with other users in 'public lobbies'. With a particular skill in using sniper rifles, Hutch has played competitvely in Gamebattles.com, an online video game competition. Hutch was also briefly a member of OpTiC, a competitive Call of Duty sniping clan. Although stating his love for the latest Infinity Ward game Modern Warfare 2, Hutch has criticised the number of glitches that have been present in the online multiplayer.

YouTube

Hutch gained noteriety amongst the Call of Duty and YouTube community by posting videos of gameplay on his personal channel. Often with commentary, these videos show and explain tactics, hints and particularly skilled gameplay aswell as complaints and other off topic discussion. Hutch's video of gameplay with dual commentary from his mom is currently the 4th top rated video on YouTube of all time. In 2009, Hutch joined Machinima.com and started uploading video content to Machinima's own YouTube channel. This has spawned a new show entitled 'Camp Hutch' where another Call of Duty content producer posts their own gameplay video with dual commentary from Hutch and themselves. On the 6th Feburary 2010, Hutch posted a video on his channel stating he had been asked and had accepted a job at Machinima.com as "Segment Producer"^[2] and thanked the viewers for helping him achieve this.

Personal

Hutch is 26 years of age. His hometown is Pentaluma, CA^[3] and has also lived in San Fransisco. Before joining Machinima, he used to wait tables, a job he stated his dislike for on numerous occasions. Hutch is moving to Los Angeles on Feburary 17th to start his job for Machinima.
