Ryazantsev Nikolai Karpovich (born April 30, 1937, the working village of Mine 5/6 named after Dimitrov, now the city of Myrnohrad[1], Donetsk region[2] - died May 17, 2007, Kharkiv[3]) — Ukrainian Soviet leader, chief designer of the Kharkov Design Bureau for Engine Engineering at the Malyshev plant. Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine in 1986 - 1990. Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor.

Biography edit

In 1954 — 1959 years — a student of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of Kharkov Polytechnic Institute, specialty "Internal combustion engines".

In 1959 year — he became a mechanic at a bakery in Akmolinsk Kazakhstan.

In 1959 — 1965 years — engineer of design department for creation of engines of locomotives of the Kharkiv Malyshev Plant. Sinse 1965 year — engineer of the design department for the creation of tank engines of the Malyshev Kharkiv Plant (Kharkov Engineer Design Bureau). He participated in the development of the 5TDF diesel to the Т-64. tank.

Since 1968 — Head of Sector, since 1969 — Deputy Head of Department, since 1970 — Head of Piston Group of Kharkov Engineers Bureau at Malyshev Plant.

Member of the CPSU since 1970.

Since 1973 year — Chief Designer of Kharkiv Engineer Design Bureau at Malyshev Plant, General Designer, Director of Kharkiv Engineer Design Bureau. Then he is a chief researcher at the Kharkov Engineer Design Bureau for tank engine design.

Since 2001 year — General Designer for the creation of engines for armored vehicles in Ukraine.

He has published more than 280 scientific and pedagogical works, holds 70 copyright certificates and patents for inventions. Co-founder of the branch of the internal combustion engines department of Kharkov Polytechnic Institute at the Kharkov Engineers Bureau.
