My name is Maura Dailey, and I'm a recent graduate from The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Computer Science. I have since moved to the state of Maryland, where I live with my kitten, Sasha. I'm an amateur fiction writer and a regular participant in NaNoWriMo. I also enjoy Knitting, Sewing, and Reading (activity).
I'm new to contributing to Wikipedia, but I enjoy teaching others and helping them understand the world around them. I also have received training as a technical writer, first, while I was in college and second, shortly after getting a job at my current workplace. I feel that these two qualities will make me a good contributer.

I use my Computer Science degree at my current job as an analyst. Primarily, I look for security holes in software and operating systems. I also frequently produce technical documents.
