Since 2008 I have been writing data compression software for Ocarina Networks (now part of Dell). Prior to that I taught computer science at Florida Institute of Technology. My interest is in data compression and its relation to machine learning and artificial intelligence. I developed PAQ and ZPAQ and I maintain the Large Text Benchmark.
