I originally created this account to complete a biology project on improving an article with a visualization of a concept. (I chose a graph of Minimum Viable Population) I instantly loved the idea of making information and knowledge accessible to everyone.
Later that year I attempted to improve another article but made a rash judgment and used my education, rather than peer reviewed research. The change was a high school level interpretation of a college level description. My change was correctly removed.
Understanding my mistake I attempted to generate an article of a largely unreported incident on Wikipedia; Hg pollution by HoltraChem in the Penobscot River. Through investing a large amount of research and time, I realized I have so much to learn before attempting to add to this platform.
As I am finishing my bachelors degree I've needed to put a pause on this commitment, but I hope to return and put real work towards this amazing cause.
