Where are they now?

edit

Most of the main actors of this group decided to continue acting careers strongly, while others seem to go in their own different ways.

Molly Ringwald kept her career going for awhile, acting with the Brat Pack while also going on to do more films seperate from the ones she had already been in. After making films like Strike it rich and Betsy's Wedding[1], Molly decided to take a hiatus and travel to Paris, where she met her husband and learned french.[2] She later appeared back in the public eye in different ways. "In 2013, she released a jazz record called Except Sometimes"[3]. She also starred in shows like The Secret Life of American Teenager and Riverdale

Emilio Estevez. continued to act in an up and down rollercoaster of praise and scold in the movies that followed his "Brat Pack" career. With films getting high praise for his acting and others being tanks at the box office. He always had a want to direct, even from the time that he was huge in the acting scene. His big break came with the 2006 film, Bobby a story based off the life of Robert F. Kennedy. Even though his first film received high praise and made a huge impact, his next film "The Way" tanked at the box office and was looked poorly on. [4] Despite his career in directing being a hot and cold he still continued to pursue his dream of directing and started working on a film called "The Public"[5]. The movie is currently in post-production.

Judd Nelson continued to act throughout the years, making it three seasons on the show "Suddenly Susan" and "Bad kids go to hell"[4],the opposite of The Breakfast Club, where the students of detention are getting murdered in different ways. He also starred in his first western film in 2016 " Stagecoach the Texas Jack Story".[6] He spent time writing as well throughout the years with his writing partner Nancy Fulton. "we have about 75 pieces that we have written. Some are shorts, some are feature lengths, some are pilots, some are episodes after the pilots, and some are short stories"[6] Stating that they've never gone out and got funding for them, but that one day he hopes to direct a short and not act in it, and see where that takes him.[6]
