Mark Anthony Guban Sallantes
Birth Born on November 8, 1989 at Bitin Bay Laguna, Philippines. He was the eldest son of Carmelito Gratela Guban and Marilou Lacaba Sallantes. But aside from his mother, his father had a wife before, whom his father married and got 5 children. Since Article 176 of Executive Order No. 209 does not permit illegitimate children to use the username of their father, Carmelito use the last name of his wife Marilou as the last name of their child Mark upon registration.
Origin of the Name According to his mother, she got the name from her midwife. But the origin of the name is broad. Mark is a common male given name and is derived from old Latin "Mart-kos", which means "consecrated to the god Mars", and also may mean "God of war" or "to be warlike".
Early Life He Graduated in elementary in North Marinig Elementary School in Barangay Marinig Cabuyao Laguna on March 2003. But on March 17, 2005,when he was still on his first year in high school, his father died due to gunshot by unknown men. Because of that incident, he did not finish his high school. After the burial of his father, his aunt took him because they saw that his mother is unable to support them. But after 3 years of being separated, he come back to his mother. But after 3 months, Mark suffer a sickness that he could not even walk.
