Marianne Richael Williams (born 1989) is a librarian at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. She was the Librarian-in-Residence[1] at the University of Arkansas from 2017 to 2020[2]. She is an alumnus of the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, the University of Toronto, and Carleton University in Ottawa. She is the great-grandniece of Annie Maude "Nan" McKay, the first female Indigenous graduate of the University of Saskatchewan and considered one of the first Métis librarians in Canada[3].
