| For as long as I can remeber, I have always been super creative. Wich is awesome
|
| Because It's extremely difficult for me to become bored. I keep myself busy, all day
|
| every day. My latest offerings are hand made, African necklaces. It takes me about 3
|
| Hours to make one. I make them with traditional materials and brightly coloured buttons
|
| makeing them is one thing, selling them is something else. The key is in the marketing.
|
| The more people are aware of your product, the better the chance of it getting sold.
|
| Where I stock my material.
|
| I am fortunate enough to have family members, namely my aunt Ruth and cousin Esther
|
| who import and export African print material from Mozambique, Malawi, Zimbabwe and
|
| sometimes Nigeria. They sell me the remainder of their materials at a discounted
|
| price. I then buy beads and buttons from local retail stores as well as flee markets,
|
| and craft shops. A new idea and creative spark comes with every peace, this guarantees uniqueness.
