They offered him to direct project for them as freelancer Director.
His own written concept of program "Streets became first super hit show on Pakistan's first private satellite channel. His second project "Sayee" was also his own idea, a program about para normal activities, it was also the top most viewed program and a block buster on Prime TV. Mostly he had worked on his own concepts and ideas. He Directed many Dramas, telefilms, he had also written, short films, tele films, drama, documentaries and programs. there are many super hit trend setting projects on his profile, He is know for experimental projects, creating new ideas and concepts. He has worked for Geo TV as Producer special projects where he worked on awareness campaigns like "Zara soocheye" and Geo insane kay saat, He is one of the few who started travel documentaries on main stream media, After resigning from Geo Tv Network Maqbool Ahmad Durrani started his own company "Muavin Arts and Entertainment". Through his company he worked with wildlife, different organizations and government of Baluchistan, In 2024 his film "Barrier", won awards in different film festivals in different categories. The film was Produced, Directed and Scripted by him.
