Diane Story Romance Author Diane was born "Diane Patrice Jones" on December 19, 1959. As a young girl, she grew up in Squaw Valley California, just outside of the Clovis/Fresno area. She has three sisters, Anita, Bobby, and Kim who are older than her. Diane has always had a love for romance novels, and at 16 she started reading Harlequine romance Novels Within a few months I was reading one a week and sometimes one a day. It was a wonderful gift, to lose myself in someone else’s version of life and love. It was then that she knew, she would one day help transport someone else into a world of love and romance. Thirty years, one husband, two kids and four grandbabies later, Diane finally sat down and started writing. Her first manuscript still sits in a drawer unfinished. Her seconds and third manuscripts were done within her first year of writing. "The Overlanders Bride" and "Bewitching My Love" were the result. Both manuscripts soon gained acceptance by my new publisher "Whiskey Creek Press" www.whiskeycreekpress.com And in September of 2010, her third book “Desperate Hearts” is scheduled for release with Whiskey Creek Press as well. After attending college in California in the early 80’s Diane began a long career working in Medical Insurance for companies such as Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon, Cigna, and Aetna in Fresno CA. However, she now works a day job as a manager at Derrel's Mini Storage. And Writes her novels. Diane is also Kevin Fedelrine's aunt by marriage.
