The Athelstan Trust
The Athelstan Trust is a Multi-Academy Trust including Malmesbury School, the Dean Academy and Bradon Forest.
The Athelstan Trust came into being on 1st March 2015 when The Dean Academy was formally transferred from The Prospects Trust. On the 9th March 2015 Bradon Forest School received its Academy Order to convert to an Academy as a member of the Athelstan Trust and on 1st September 2015 Bradon Forest formally joined the Athelstan Trust. Staff at all three Schools are now working together on a regular basis.
Athelstan Trust Strategic Aims:
- Raising educational standards for all schools within the Trust.
- Delivering an excellent, comprehensive education for all the children in the schools within the Trust.
- Developing and valuing all the staff within the Trust.
- Ensuring the financial security of the Trust and all the schools within it.
