editPhilosophy is defined as 'the study of the fundamental nature of knowledge, reality, and existence' as well as ideas and attitudes which act as 'a guiding principle for behavior'.[1] Perhaps realising this, a clever man supposedly once said 'the sage has no constant teacher', and that 'By nature all men are the same; but by practice men are wide apart' [2] - though his teacher may have simply called him confused.
