Former Talking Heads front man David Byrne has made a sequel - of sorts - to his acclaimed 1984 concert film Stop Making Sense. Ride, Rise and Roar opens at cinemas on Thursday night, when a live question and answer session with the musician will also be broadcast.

The film showcases songs from his Talking Heads days, alongside recent collaborations with others including Brian Eno.

It was shot at concerts during 2008 and 2009 and is a fusion of dance and music Visually, it sometimes looks more like a ballet than a gig.

And while Byrne wore a striking big suit in Stop Making Sense, his unlikely but equally distinctive choice of attire this time is a white tutu. [1]
