New episode blocks
editBlock 1 (Sky1)
editThe first block of new episodes premiered on 14 January 2010 with "Homer the Whopper" preceding with three specials about The Simpsons, "Simpsons...Access All Areas", "Simpsons...Mischief and Mayhem" and "Simpsons...Celebrity Friends". The block comprised of 15 episodes from Season 21, which ended on 10 June with "Postcards from the Wedge".
Block 2 (Sky1)
editThe second block of new episodes premiered on 8 August 2010 with "Stealing First Base" and comprised of 4 episodes which ended on 23 September with "Moe Letter Blues".
Block 3 (Sky1)
editThe third block of new episodes will premiere on Sky1 will begin 4 February 2011 with "American History X-cellent", and cease on 11 February 2011 with "O Brother, Where Bart Thou?". The block will comprise of 2 episodes. These delayed episodes will air during the Season 22 new episode run. Also, they will air after the 9pm timeshed, much later than usual Simpsons episodes premiere. On 21st January 2011, it was confirmed that these new episodes won't premiere, and have been replaced with repeats. However, in late January, it was confirmed that "O Brother, Where Bart Thou?" will premiere February 18th and "American History X-cellent" will premiere February 25th.
