The board game Formula Dé recreates Formula One auto races on a variety of boards (most of them based on real racing circuits). In many cases these circuits are based on versions of the circuits that no longer exist, as some circuits have closed, and others have been altered. The following series of low resolution images illustrates two things.
- The tracks available for Formula Dé games and campaigns.
- The past layout of a number tracks which can be compared to their present layouts as shown elsewhere in Wikipedia.
- To this end, each board based on a real life circuit has its name linked to the Wikipedia entry on said circuit.
The following race circuits have been officially published by Euro Games / Descartes Editeur for the Formula Dé board game.
Formula Dé (boxed game) edit
These two circuits come in the Formula Dé boxed game itself.
Monaco edit
Monaco hosts an annual road rally (city streets are closed off and used for the circuit’s course).
The current version of the circuit is notable for a 3-stop turn in the first half of the lap, followed by a long straight-away. That same straight is broken up by a 1-stop chicane that makes simply going for the highest gear setting problematic.
The original printing is notable for its Pit Row entrance. In the real-world course, drivers who wish to make a pit stop enter Pit Row before the last curve. In the original printing, this was replicated accurately, which unintentionally let players use Pit Row as a bypass of the corner. In the current printings the entrance was moved to prevent this.
Zandvoort № 1 edit
This circuit in the Netherlands is one of two circuits that can be played separately, or combined to make a double length course.

Zandvoort № 2 edit
This circuit can be played alone, or combined with Zandvoort № 1 to create a double-sized board that more accuratly recreates the real-world layout of the Zandvoort circuit.
