About me
¡Hola!!I have been working in grant-making for over 15 years. Before joining Wikimedia Foundation, I worked as the Community Partnerships Director at Sacred Fire Foundation, managing the annual grants program and designed a grantee collaborative pilot program to promote knowledge sharing, and ultimately, to ensure the continuance of ancestral wisdom in our world.
I led the Levantemos México Fund from Documental Ambulante in response to the Mexico earthquakes of September 2017. I managed a grantee capacity-building program that included communications and self-documentation, and horizontal knowledge exchange, focusing on integral community reconstruction processes.
I am passionate about protecting and promoting cultural diversity and the importance of recognizing Indigenous wisdom as a heritage for humanity.
I love hugging trees & walking in nature, I enjoy music of all types, and I could be dancing all day long.
My work
I work on the Community Resources team as Program Officer.
