Luit Neil Don (Assamese - লুইত নীল ডন) is a journalist based in Assam in northeast India. He has worked in several leading dailies including The Northeast Times, The Northeast Daily and The Sentinel. He works with News Live, the most-watched satellite channel in Northeast since September 2007. Now he is posted in New Delhi bureau of News Live.

Education

Luit Neil Don holds a Post Graduate Degree in English Literature from Gauhati University.

Publications

His first collection of poems, Hurts my Heart, was published when he was a Class XI student in Dergaon Kamal Duwerah College, Dergaon. He has written two books on the sufferings of the people after the Indian Army was deployed in Assam. His novel Nisongotar Seshot, on secret killings in Assam, was published in 2012.
