About Me

My name is E.J. Friedman. My primary music interests are electronic music, hip-hop, house music, reggae, funk, soul, r&b and boogie. I'm a fan of independent film, modern art, vintage clothing, vegan food, bicycling and record collecting.

Film and Television

Credits can be found on my IMDb page.[1] I am featured prominently in the film This Is What Love In Action Looks Like (2011) appearing as myself[2] discussing breaking the story on my personal blog which inspired the subject of the film.[3]

Writing

I have shared the majority of my work online as the editor & publisher of several blogs that I started, including Cherry Blossom Special (2004-2013)[4], Duhblog[5] and the music blog Loudersoft[6] since 2006. I am a very active member of the Twitter community, where I have been a member since 2007.[7]

I am a contributing editor to Consequence of Sound[8] and Medium.Com's Cuepoint.[9]
