Administrative Recall for User:Lomn edit

Short and sweet: If you feel I've done something egregiously wrong and need my admin bit removed for it, post such to my talk page and find one uninvolved admin to concur/certify/what-have-you. Note that "uninvolved" should be considered only with respect to the issue at hand; I've got no objection the certification being from an admin that I have history with, or from an admin who's agreed at ANI that what I did was wrong.

Given a request for recall, with above certification, I'll resign my admin bit and stand again at RFA at my own convenience. Such resignation will be considered "under a cloud" for purposes of avoiding automatic reinstatement.

I'd prefer that we discuss the issue like rational people first, but I found the previous version of this page distressingly bureaucratic in its if-thens. I think one uninvolved admin is a reasonable filter without being an overly harsh one, so there it is. Similarly, I'd prefer you ensure said admin realizes it's a "certify de-admin", not "certify a need for discussion".

That cover everything? Cool. — Lomn 16:48, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
