Ramón Tamames Gómez (Madrid, 1 November 1933) is Spanish economist, historian, and politician. During various political terms, he has been a deputy in the Congress of Deputies. He has held this position while also serving simultaneously as a councilmember in the City Council of Madrid. Through his career, he has produced various works of literature in economics and history. He has also collaborated with various periodicals and other news publications on many occasions.
